What is New Media?
The online encyclopedia Wikipedia defines New Media as “the term meant to encompass the emergence of digital, computerized, or networked information and communication technologies in the later part of the 20th century”.

Our new programs will explore the creation of RIA (rich internet applications), web site management and design, animation for all mediums of delivery, and the use of gaming simulations in entertainment, education, and training. The media creators of today need the skills to run state of the art applications in developing media content for that delivers content to the HDTV screen and the small handheld devices.

The faculty encourage the open sharing and collabrative creation of new ideas and we teach how to develop them using industry standard software applications from Adobe, Autodesk, and more.
